The Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI) are organizations that provide a consistent training framework to help ski and snowboard instructors meet certification goals. They represent a minimum standard of competency needed as instructors advance in each level of certification. The standards are the same across the United States, transferrable from division to division. Tyrol Basin Ski and Snowboard Area is proud to have our certified instructors and all that they bring to our Snow Sports School. These instructors are experts of their trade and are passionate about sharing the ski/snowboard experience with others. “Certifications are badges of honor that symbolize your credibility and expertise.” -PSIA/AASI
