Tyrol Basin Ski Team is open to kids ages 5-19 years old. Racing experience is not necessary but the ability to ski intermediate runs independently and in control is required. Athletes must also be able to ride the chairlift without assistance.

We routinely practice on Bump Buster and Twister, all participants must be able to ski both of these runs with confidence and control.
Tyrol Basin Ski Team is a great opportunity to experience the world of ski racing, weather at our home hill for our Saturday Series races or representing our team at Wisconsin Illinois Iowa Junior Alpine Racing Association (WIJARA) events. Come learn to ski gates and improve your skills while having fun with friends.

All U8/U10 athletes must have a parent/guardian present during practice to assist with loading/unloading the chairlift as needed until proven they can do so safely without assistance and have been cleared by a TBST coach to ride independently.

Terms & Conditions: Tyrol Basin is not a ski school lesson program. The participant must be able to ski and stop in control and without assistance on intermediate and some advanced runs, including Bump Buster & Twister. Loading/unloading the chairlift without assistance is required. If they are not able to meet this criteria they will be removed from the team roster and the team fee will be applied towards lessons in the Tyrol Basin Ski School.
